Night Heron - Careworn

The cover for the first Night Heron album is a composite image created by scanning two found objects; a very worn sheet of paper and a dragonfly wing. To commemorate its release, I made a limited edition of giclée prints on poly-fabric using a Durst P10-320R inkjet press.

Sisterwife (Self Titled)

This was a collaborative project - I painted the cover image, my friend Philip Spradley did the cassette layout, Dave Bonawits and I took the product photographs, and I edited them.

Nomen Novum - Lookalikes

This was my most ambitious album packaging to date. To create the “death mask” of my face, I had three alginate molds made of my face, three plaster casts made from the mold, and then photographed the best version in a box lit by a blacklight. Then, I designed and assembled the extravagant cassette packaging, comprised of a die-cut chipboard case, colored stage lighting gel, and inkjet print on clear acetate. I also designed the accompanying insert, sticker and download coupon.

Nomen Novum - LP, CD and 7” Vinyl Packaging

I designed every element for these releases, and printed the sleeves myself using a large-format inkjet press. The November CD featured a custom die-cut sleeve. The Mantis Man 7” was pressed on transparent green vinyl and came with a bonus CD, sticker, and hand-drawn lyrics/comic insert.

These are flyers and web graphics I designed for my musical projects over the years. All were drawn with pencil or pen, then scanned and colored in Photoshop.
